After our consultation, I may provide a sketch of my design approach and a personalised quote for your unique cake. I create bespoke cakes for clients across the Scottish Borders, the Lothians, Edinburgh, and beyond.
Decorate
Each cake is finished with white chocolate Swiss meringue buttercream or chocolate ganache, showcasing my signature style.
Colour, texture, and finish are carefully applied using natural pigments, stencils, and ganache techniques. Cakes are then adorned with food-safe, sustainable decorations such as seasonal organic (pesticide-free) edible flowers, aromatic foliage, chocolate sculptures, wafer paper designs, fruits, and berries.
The result is a bespoke, exquisitely delicious wedding or celebration cake with a ‘wow’ factor, crafted with finesse and attention to detail.
deliver
Cakes are generally finished on the day of your event for maximum freshness and quality.
They are presented in recyclable, unlaminated cardboard boxes and wrapped in compostable cellulose wrap. Cakes should be transported on a flat surface, in a cool environment, out of direct sunlight and away from car air vents. Once collected, I cannot take responsibility for damage during transport.
On arrival, your cake can safely remain at room temperature for several hours, avoiding direct sunlight.
Delivery is available for a quoted fee. For larger wedding cakes or designs with internal structures, I personally deliver and set up the cake. This minimises packaging and ensures your bespoke cake arrives fresh, stunning, and stress-free for clients throughout the Scottish Borders, the Lothians, Edinburgh, and beyond.
